March of Dimes Honors Missouri’s Most Outstanding Nurses

Whether serving as health care providers, educators or researchers, nurses play a critical role in advancing March of Dimes’ mission. For the things they do every day, each year, March of Dimes sponsors its Nurse of the Year nomination process to award our state’s “best.” 

This year, March of Dimes Missouri Chapter received a record number of award nominations. More than 585 nurses representing 20 disciplines and 71 health care institutions across Missouri and Metro Illinois were nominated. October 25, awards in 20+ disciplines will be presented at a gala in St. Louis. Among the award finalists are 15 nurses from Mercy Springfield Communities, who will be Mercy’s guests of honor at the event. Each finalist and their guest will also have complimentary hotel accommodations at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel where the gala is taking place.
