Cancer Survivors Invited to Mercy’s Spring Fling

Every cancer patient has a unique journey, and sometimes conveying it to family members can be difficult. This weekend, cancer survivors of all ages, as well as their families, are encouraged to attend Mercy Hospital Springfield's "Spring Fling."

"This is a great opportunity for cancer survivors and their family members to come meet other survivors, learn about different services in place to help them throughout their cancer journey, and to have some fun," said oncology program coordinator for Mercy Springfield.

The event on Saturday, April 25, will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the McAuley Conference Center, just inside Mercy Hospital Springfield, located at 1235 E. Cherokee St. It will include booths set up by community partnerships as well educational sessions.
